These two types of power of attorney can both be nullified in the same way, without notice or warning, as and when the grantor deems it necessary to resume the management of his/her affairs. You should also be warned that you are giving someone the entire rights to control and manage your money for you and therefore the deal might always turn sour especially if you are dealing with a friend or a relative. Taxes could be filed wrongly and you would find your self headed to the dock. Therefore, put everything in writing to make sure that it can be followed up later, and to keep it for future reference.
